Kairo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the app:

Email address — only if you choose to sign up. Used solely to send you a magic link to log in. We do not send marketing emails.
Anonymous user ID — a randomly generated identifier created automatically when you first open the app. Used to save your progress (XP, streaks, completed missions, saved prompts) across sessions.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information.
We do not collect location data.
We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

Email address — to authenticate you via magic link. Not linked to your public profile or shared with third parties.
Anonymous user ID — to store your app progress in our database (Supabase). This ID is not linked to your identity unless you choose to sign up with an email.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

Prompts in the Apply phase of a mission are suggestions for use with third-party AI tools. We are not responsible for what those tools output. Always review AI-generated content critically.

Children's Privacy

Kairo is designed to be appropriate for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Access — you may request a copy of data we hold about you.
Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Correction — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
